Baltasar Fidalgo López founds on 24 April 1972 Proinor S.L ., company dedicated to the extraction, production and slate extraction. From then on the company has followed a process of growth. Five years later, on 24 May 1977, the company becomes anonymous society (Proinor S.A.), without for it to abandon the family spirit that characterizes to the company from its origins to nowadays.
In their origins the company arises with a social capital of 60 million pesetas, ascending at the present time to 235 millions.
The participation of the society is distributed at the moment between Florinda Fidalgo Fidalgo and Demetrio Campo Fernández.
